Recently my entire basement flooded and I had major water damage to my carpeting, tile, paneling, drywall, furniture and personal belongings. SERVPRO of Washington came immediately and began extracting water. The owner accompanied the crew and they quickly put together a plan. They were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The crew was like a well-oiled machine and treated my basement as if it was their own home. After the water was extracted they set up numerous fans and dehumidifiers to begin the drying out process. Meanwhile, the Production manager spent time with me explaining the entire process and what would happen over the next several days. Then he was on the phone arranging other services I would need (i.e. my furnace had water in it so I had no heat). Before long he had everything coordinated with the various contractors, as well as my insurance adjuster. The damage was devastating, but SERVPRO had everything under control immediately. So the other day I had a flood in my house which was pretty devastating for me. I had no clue who to call and the steps to clean up the water. My neighbor came over with a shopvac and started to help me suck the water out but we soon realized it was too much for us to handle. Last week, I had a pipe break behind the wall in my kitchen (around 5pm). The entire 1st floor of my house ended up with an inch to two inches of water. I called my homeowner's to file a claim. They partner with SERVPRO for remediation. They called SERVPRO for me and said SERVPRO would call me back within the hour. About 15 minutes later, they called. I explained what happened and what the state of my 1st floor was. They explained that at this point, there wasn't much they could do to mitigate the damage but that they would be out the next morning no later than 9am. The next morning, I get a call from Joe letting me know they were on the way (they were there before 9am). Joe was OUTSTANDING. He sat down with me, explained the entire process, spoke with our adjuster, got the approval, and got right to work with his partner, James. I can't say enough good things about SERVPRO and Joe, especially. They did an outstanding job and worked quickly. I was so impressed that I decided to continue using SERVPRO's construction division to handle the repairs of my first floor. Jody met with me on my schedule, coming out at almost 6pm on a weeknight because I wasn't able to work from home anymore. I told him what my adjuster was estimating for the repairs, told him what I'd like to do, and he took it from there. Jody and Joe, both, have been nothing but accommodating, professional, and polite. If anyone I know is looking for a company to handle damage remediation and/or reconstruction, I will recommend this branch of SERVPRO ALL DAY LONG!
