Medford, the County seat of Jackson County, is the largest city in the Rogue Valley and the eighth most populous city in the state of Oregon. The city is situated on the remains of an ancient lava flow as evidenced by the nearby Upper and Lower Table Rock formations. Interstate 5, which spans the entire state from north to south, runs directly through the city. Medford is also home to the Rogue Valley International Airport, the third busiest airport in the state. Medford boasts a historic downtown and plenty of opportunities for recreation. Locals and visitors can head to Bear Creek Park to enjoy the dog park, BMX track, community garden and much more.
