Haughville is a unique Indianapolis neighborhood, first settled in 1830. In 1880, Benjamin Haugh moved his iron foundry from downtown Indianapolis to what is now Haughville. A community formed around the foundry and was incorporated in 1883 as Haughville. Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, built in 1906-1907, but was closed in 2015. Haughville has a public library, which is the oldest continuously operating branch of the Indianapolis Public Library. Lentz Park is a 3-and-a-half-acre public park in Haughville. The park is named after Sarah Lentz, who sold the land to Indianapolis for $1.00 in 1928. Long's Bakery is a place of traditions. Long's was founded in 1951 in Haughville. A second location in Southport, opened in 1987. Both locations open at 5:30 AM daily and are cash only.

Good afternoon,
I just witnessed two of your guys help push a disabled vehicle out of the way at a busy intersection. While many people looked on and passed by, your guys took the extra 3 minutes to help a guy out when his car stalled at the on ramp at northbound I465 and 10th st. Bravo to your guys. It shows great character. I hope that I never need your services, but if I do, based on what I saw today, I'll be calling your company.
