Warping

A physical change in a surface, wall, floor, or ceiling from its original shape as a result of water or heat damage. The fibers in wood or other material contract at different rates as they dry or cool, causing internal stresses that cause it to warp.

Example: Water damage to homes can lead to stained, warped hardwood floors. SERVPRO’s quick response and innovative drying techniques can help limit the damage and save your floors.
