Dehumidification

Dehumidification is the mechanical process of removing moisture from the air, and this is usually done by using a dehumidifier.

Example: You can remove moisture through simply opening a window or using fans to increase ventilation, and your HVAC equipment will help out with relative humidity. But it takes a dehumidifier or other specialized drying equipment to really reducing high humidity levels, which is needed for a more comfortable environment and to prevent unhealthy issues like mold
