Water Extraction and Removal of Bulk Materials
When the water is more than two inches deep, we use submersible pumps to pump it out. These pumps have different capacities. Small portable units can move from 100 to 18,000 gallons per hour through a ¾″ to 4″ hose. When the floodwater has sewage contamination, we use a disinfectant to sanitize it before pumping it out. To remove the excess water from the flooring, we can use portable extractors, truck-mounted extractors, carpet wands, and squeegee wands.
