Known as the “Garden Spot of the World”, Rural Hall, North Carolina, is a community with a proud past and a bright future. Located in Northern Forsyth County, the community can be traced to a trapper’s cabin built 1740s. That log structure still stands as part of and 18th-century home. Rural Hall first provided municipal services in 1953, and on June 1, 1974, the town became incorporated as a municipality.
