Located in western Forsyth County, the town of Lewisville was established back in the 1700's. It was incorporated in 1991 with the sole purpose of retaining its small-town feel. As a residential community of about 13,000 residents, Lewisville was named after Lewis Case Laygenour. The original home he built in the Greek Revival Style is still located there.
The Town of Lewisville's Parks and Recreation program makes sure its citizens don't get bored. It offers a wide variety of events and activities throughout the year. Most of these events are free. Some of these events include:
