Gowrie is a small quiet town in Webster County that began as a stop on the railroad. The population is just 952 residents.The town has a swimming pool, golf course, athletic stadium, and a COOP. Each year, the town hosts the Gowrie Fourth Of July Celebration, that attracts thousands of people from around the state for the parade, fireworks, carnival, and bandshell performances. In the past the parade has included a visit by President Richard Nixon's daughter, Patricia in 1968, and the Bill Riley Talent Show for several years, an appearance by the O's Gold Famous 40 Horse Hitch in 1976, and a concert by the opera singer Simon Estes in the year 2011.

I had a disaster in my home when a stainless steel hose burst under the sink in my upstairs bathroom. After a plumber was able to stop the water flow, I contacted Jerry at SERVPRO and he was at my home in minutes to survey the damage. He said he would have 4 or 5 of his workers come the next morning to start the process of restoration. That was exactly how the process started with all the equipment and fans before 9 am.
There was a problem with the water leaking through a light fixture onto a carpeted area. Jerry was on hand to explain the steps needed to start the fans and equipment. There was many items to be moved, so the guys carried some of the bigger items to the garage.
Jerry was very helpful and kind as I'm a widow with no family near me to help. What a nice crew for me to work with through this stressful situation They were all very courteous and caring. Also the office gals were always very helpful and kind.
Extremely happy with every aspect of the SERVPRO team. From setting up the appointment to the end result of my area rugs and carpets looking fantastic. I don't think you could hire anyone more professional. They are not the lowest price option, but if you want a top notch job you get what you pay for! They were meticulous, polite, and thorough. I will never hire anyone else!

Shay, Becky, April, Riley, and Kaci were rock stars and I can't thank them enough for their effort when my sewer backed up. Also, thank you the ladies in the office for always being so sweet when I called so many times with all different questions. Now I know my basement is not only clean but disinfected and sanitized appropriately so that my daughter and I can use that space without the worry of any surfaces possibly being contaminated.
