Coastal Areas of Florida are Prone to Flooding Waters and Storms...Prepare

Holly Hill, Florida has a long history, though opinions vary on what it is. The city, located in Volusia County, was unincorporated in 1901, however due to a problem with hogs getting into the resident’s gardens, the town decided to incorporate. On July 2, 1901, some thirty-one residents voted at Cave's Cigar Factory to incorporate the town.

Holly Hill’s beginnings date back to the early 1800’s, when Governor Coppinger of Mexico gave a royal title of 4,500 acres on the Halifax to Fernando de la Maza Arrendonda. The area was later sold. The new owners eventually sold a large parcel of property to another investor in 1817. The new owners acquired one of the Spanish grants containing 3,200 acres along the Halifax River. In 1835 he lost everything during the second Seminole War.

The Halifax area was again abandoned until after the Civil War but wasn’t long till adventurous settlers seeking a better life arrived to take advantage of the natural beauty and enticing climate.

On July 2nd 1901 some thirty-one residents voted at Cave’s Cigar Factory to incorporate the Town of Holly Hill. Today, Holly Hill boasts a thriving community of over 12,000 residents. This along with the growing business communities, make this area a great coastal area to live.

Being a coastal community and with Florida’s well known hurricane seasons, allows for each resident and business owners, to have a pre-plan in place for possible water damages from storms. The area is relatively a low-lying region, making flooding even more prevalent. Our advisors are always available 24/7, to help with these issues. Florida is well documented for its moderate temperatures and mixed with flood waters/hurricanes, can create greater chances for mold. Therefore, as soon as you know you have a water problem, do not try to resolve this by yourself. Call in the professionals to assess the damage and get your property back.

Hello Wonderful People… Your Amazing and Informative men were here this morning. My unit was FLOODED due to an under sink valve failure. Your head “tech” Roland was extremely considerate and respectful considering the duress I was in. You are very Blessed to have such astute employees who DO care about your customers and Roland was very informative, which helped me to understand what has happened and what the next steps that can or will/should be taken. If you are rated by a 5 STAR ?? rating you should get a 10 !!! Thank you and Blessings to all who have turned this apparent disaster into an unfortunate experience… Roxanna
