Hamptons at Boca Raton is a census-designated place (CDP) in an unincorporated area just outside of Boca Raton. It falls between US Route 441 and Florida's Turnpike. It is located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and the population was around 10,000 in 2000, the last time the population was checked. While it is not officially Boca Raton, it is typically counted as part of Boca Raton.
The weather in Hamptons at Boca Raton, Florida is usually sunny and warm. The average high temperature is around 82 degrees, while the average low is around 66 degrees. Rainfall is fairly common during the spring and summer months with an average of 60 inches of rain falling per year.
History of Boca Raton
The town known as Boca Raton actually started in 1924 as "Bocaratone." The name was changed the very next year to the current spelling: "Boca Raton."
In 1925, Addison Mizner announced that he would make Boca Raton "the foremost resort city on the North American continent." Mizner's goal was to make Boca Raton a beautiful and fanciful place for residents and visitors alike. Unfortunately, Mizner's Boca Raton didn't really come to fruition. After the end of Florida's land boom in the 1920s and the 1926 hurricane season, Mizner's company went bankrupt.
Parts of Boca Raton were used for training bases for the armed forces during World War II, which later was donated and used as the grounds for Florida Atlantic University.
Following WWII, Boca Raton was the site of two different amusement park: Africa U.S.A. and Ancient America. Unfortunately neither of them are still in operation today.

Everyone I dealt with at SERVPRO of South Palm Beach was always available, returned my e-mails, texts and phone calls. I live in NY and was having the work done in a Florida apartment.
