Julian, California is a mountain town about an hour east of San Diego. It's roots come from the 1870's gold rush. Julian is most known for their hiking views and apple pie. The town experiences all four seasons from cool spring days to warm summers, chilly fall, and even snowy winters. As mention, Julian was part of the gold rush so of course there are mines still there and can be toured.
Days can be enjoyed fishing, boating, and horseback riding. Apple and pear orchards are surrounding the lands. Since Julian is a good ride away from the city, the night views are spectacular. The milky way can be seen here since the city lights do not flood the quaint town.

Recommended by USAA, after a water leak, SERVPRO responded within the hour and set up drying and repairing my home. Within a day or two they removed all damaged drywall and cabinets and dried up all the water. They had excellent customer service and I would use again.
