When Water, Fire, and Storm Damage Happens in Attalla, We're Ready.
Whether you're looking for restoration, cleaning or construction services in Attalla, we're here to help 24/7.
Attalla, Alabama is a town in Etowah County founded in 1870 but not incorporated until 1872. Many interesting places are in Attalla. Big Wills Creek Campground, Tigers for Tomorrow at Untamed Mountain, and the Wills Creek Winery are a few. Downtown Attalla has an interesting feel to it. The buildings are a mix of modern and of times long past.
The town of Attalla was founded on what used to be a site of a Native American village. During the Creek War, this village had a quite significant role. In fact, the term Attalla is a Native American word. The translation of the word either means “my home” or “mountain”. Being the first town to be entirely lighted from hydroelectric power in America is another part of Attalla rich history.
Attalla made national news in 2019 with the warehouse fire that burned for 2 weeks. Two fires in towns history were quickly overshadowed by the destructive warehouse fire. Highway 77 through Attalla was closed off. The fire blazed and burned so hot it could be felt over 100 yards away. Over 100 fire departments sent trucks and equipment to help paid and voluntary firefighters from across North Alabama battle the blaze. Although SERVPRO has trained technicians to perform water and fire damage restoration, we knew there would be nothing we could do, so we shifted our focus to supporting the first responders. We bought water, Gatorade, snacks and more for the fire fighters to recover with when they came out of the building as they were fighting in shifts. We also had a staff member drive around and deliver icy water and food to the police officers blocking and directing traffic. We donated our tent used for events to provide shade as well.
SERVPRO’s trained and certified professionals specialize in providing water and fire damage restoration services, but even when we know there is nothing we can do, we still offer support and resources.

My name is Mr. Danny F. Pressley and I would like to say that Dennis Anderson of Anniston, Alabama SERVPRO, is truly a professional and he represented the “SERVPRO” shield well. He “Served and operates as a Pro.” During the most resent tornado in Jacksonville, Alabama in March 2018, Mr. Anderson was assigned to recover our home and he and his crew did that with excellence. Mr. Anderson dresses as a pro everyday, he works harder and sets the example for his subordinates. His workers enjoyed working for him and it showed, and he kept me, the home owners informed of where they were in the recovery process. Please reward him with greater responsibility, because he truly is a leader and he represents SERVPRO well. Than you Mr. Anderson and the SERVPRO Team.
